Police are investigating a fatal crash in Mount Macedon last night.
At 8.45pm, emergency services were called to Mount Macedon Road where a car had crashed into a tree.
A male driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
