Planned outage in Pipers Creek

Telstra users in the Macedon Ranges are advised of an upcoming planned outage.

Upgrades will be happening at Telstra’s mobile base station in Pipers Creek, located near Carlsruhe and Pastoria.

The site will need to be switched off from 7am to 7.30pm on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15.

Where possible, Telstra advises users to use an NBN, satellite or other broadband connection to access Wi-Fi calling which will allow the mobile to use a Wi-Fi network to make and receive mobile calls.

Telstra said it will ensure the site is turned off for as little time as possible to minimise any disruption to our customers, and apologise for the inconvenience this causes.

Once complete, Telstra sais the upgrades should result in improved connectivity for the local area.
