What is your connection to Sunbury and/or the Macedon Ranges?
I have lived in Sunbury most of my life and now reside in Romsey. I work in Sunbury at Ranbuild and am a venturer scout leader at 1st Riddells Creek Scout Group.
What are you passionate about?
I love spending time with family and friends, whether that be watching AFL – I’m an unwavering supporter of the Melbourne Football Club and as a member, I get to go to all home games with my fiance Jessica. I also am fond of good wine which is fortunate as the Macedon Ranges is an emerging wine hot
spot. I also care deeply about my work with the scouting movement, and find working with youth is so rewarding.
How long have you been a part of the team at Ranbuild in Sunbury?
I started in May 2018, firstly out of our Kilmore location and now in our brand new showroom in Sunbury.
What is your role?
I am a project sales consultant. I consult with our clients assisting them navigate their purchase of a shed, giving a professional insight into the building industry.
What are some of your favourite local spots to eat at?
For breakfast, I enjoy Krash & Co. For lunch or dinner, it has to be Roquette however a new favourite for a quick bite or drink is the outdoor space at Club Sunbury.
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I was born in the UK, however have spent most of my time in Australia.
If you could change one thing about the area, what would it be?
In Sunbury, I would say that it’s time for action on a new railway station with ample parking to free up the town. At home in Romsey, I would like to see the main street be revitalised with new businesses as many of the building are left closed. I would also like a secondary school in Romsey to be opened to cater for the future.
