New women’s business network for Sunbury

A new network designed to give Sunbury businesswomen an opportunity to meet and talk about how they juggle career, family and life will be launched at a fundraising dinner in October.
The first Sunbury Business Women’s Network event will include performances by contortionists and jugglers and a talk from comedian and media identity Libbi Gorr (pictured).
Sunbury Square Shopping Centre manager Marnie Harding says the network will be open to professional women from different backgrounds.
‘‘We will offer support, guidance and inspiration, as well as the chance to celebrate each other’s successes in life,’’ Ms Harding says.
The dinner will also feature a panel of local women who will reflect on the highs and lows of life in business and family.
It’s at Estelle’s Restaurant, Vineyard Road, Sunbury from 6.30pm on October 1.
Tickets: $80 (includes two-course dinner and drinks). Money raised will support breast cancer research.
