A growing number of multiple births in the Macedon Ranges has led to the council creating a new playgroup.
The Macedon Ranges Multiples Playgroup offers support for parents of twins and triplets and enables them to get in contact with parents in similar situations.
Families are able to meet, support and share experiences of life with multiples weekly in a family-friendly environment.
The group began this month after local families and maternal and child health nurses identified a need for better support.
The playgroup runs every Tuesday from 9-10.30am at Manna Gum Family and Children Centre, 71 Robertson Street, Gisborne.
