Ladies are invited to take a swing at tennis when Mountain District Ladies Tennis Association hosts a come-and-try morning.

Association spokesperson Vanessa Ouston said the event, at Sunbury Lawn Tennis Club, was for women of all abilities.

“Whether they’ve played before or haven’t played previously – we’re trying to make it easier for ladies to get in to sport,” she said.

Morning tea and tennis racquets will be provided at the come and try morning.

“It’s incorporating all the Macedon Ranges – it’s not just Sunbury,” Ms Ouston said. “Wear a T-shirt and tracksuits and sneakers … you need nothing, you can turn up as you are.”

The Ladies Come and Try Tennis morning will be held on Sunday, March 31, from 10am-noon at the corner of Cornish and Ligar streets, Sunbury.
