The Woodland Ladies Probus Club in Sunbury celebrated its 25th anniversary in style.
Club president Val Jordan said the ladies attended a lunch at Barringo Food and Wine Company in New Gisborne last week to commemorate the milestone.
“We had a little welcoming, we had our meal and we presented certificates to inaugural members, members who have been at the club for 20 years and members who have been here for 10 years,” she said.
“It was lovely.
“It was such a delight.”
Ms Jordan has been at the club for two and a half years. She said her time at the club has been rewarding.
“Probus was created to assist retired, mature-aged people to look for new interests. Our club has achieved that quite successfully,” she said.
