Teenager dies in Gisborne crash

A 19-year-old man has died following a crash in Gisborne last night.

The man’s car left the road on Skyline Drive, near the intersection of Aurora Close before hitting a tree just before midnight.

The Gisborne man, who was the driver of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Two male passengers, aged 19 and 24, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
