Three Sunbury parks are scheduled to get an overhaul in the second half of the year.
Residents are being asked to have their final say on the proposed plans for Roger Free Park, Gosse-Cowper Reserve and Yellowgum Boulevard Reserve.
Hume council plans to establish new playgrounds and new pathways in all three reserves, following community consultation in 2017.
Calls for new furniture, paths and shade trees dominated the feedback from the more than 70 people who shared ideas for Roger Free Park in September, according to the council.
Draft plans for the park include installing a new playground and adding concrete paths and seats.
The council said community feedback requested that the park continue to require dogs to be on a leash, and that an off-leash area be established.
But the council did not plan to change the park’s current regulations yet, with the issue scheduled to be considered as part of the Hume Dogs in Public Places Review, which is is planned for later this year.
Installing new playground equipment, was among the proposals for Gosse-Cowper Reserve and Yellowgum Boulevard Reserve.
Feedback on the plans for all three parks closes on Friday, April 13.
