You don’t have to be able to talk to the animals to give them a helping hand, as Macedon Ranges Wildlife Network supporters discovered.
RT Edgar Macedon Ranges real estate’s Rhys Nuttal and Josie Borg last week handed over $250 to MRWN spokeswoman Fiona Corke to allow animal rescuers like Lynda Pope continue their work.
Ms Corke says the agency is the latest organisation to support the network, which has close to 60 members. New volunteers are also welcome.
‘‘Whether it’s helping at a wildlife shelter, fundraising, giving our rescuers on the road a bit of a break or holding an awareness day at your work, we’re always looking for people to give others a break,’’ Ms Corke says.
