TattsLotto win for Woodend man

A Woodend man has had a life changing start to the week, after winning a division one TattsLotto prize.

The regular player, who wished to remain anonymous, said he didn’t expect to wake up $1.2 million richer.

“It feels terrific to hear I am now a millionaire,” he said.

“The news is just very good. I’ve been playing these numbers since TattsLotto started.  I just chose the numbers at random back then.”

He held one of three division one winning entries across Australia.

The man said he was looking forward to sharing his success with his family and splurging on a holiday.

He purchased his 12-game marked entry at Woodend Newsagency.

Newsagency owner Darren Cahill congratulated the man on his win.

“We are so excited for our winner and we hope they do something great with their prize,” he said.

“We’ve sold three division one winning entries over the past 25 years, but it has been about 10 years since our last winning division one win.”
