Twenty days after winning more than $1.3 million, a Kyneton woman has finally come forward to claim her Tattslotto win.

Last month Star Weekly reported that a lucky Kyneton punter had hit the big time with a $1,303,213 lotto win from a Saturday draw ticket purchased at Collins Authorised News & Lotto on Mollison Street Kyneton.

Today the woman claimed her prize and described the moment she heard the news as a “complete surprise and delight”.

“It was only when my family checked a few of my tickets for me that I found out I was a millionaire,” she said.

“It will allow us all to really live life to the fullest with no real financial pressures.

“It’s life-changing for us!”

The woman said she would use the money to travel overseas and share with her family.

Collins Authorised News & Lotto owner Kevin Chen said he was pleased to see the jackpot claimed.

“We were so excited when we’d heard we’d sold a division one winning entry, and we are even happier to know the prize has now been claimed by a local,” he said.

“This was the first division one winning entry we’ve sold since I took ownership four years ago, so it’s been monumental for us!
