Zoe and Lucas hit the course at Goonawarra Golf Club last week to brush up on their skills ahead of next week’s junior activity days.
The Sunbury club’s resident golf instructor, Carol Leaney, will be on hand on January 17 and 18 to run skills clinics and competitions.
For beginners, the fun starts at 10am on January 17 with a one-hour clinic.
More experienced young golfers can take part in afternoon clinics on both days from noon.
There will be nine-hole team competitions each afternoon open to golfers of varied abilities.
Ms Leaney says the activity days are aimed at encouraging children to give golf a go in a fun, safe and relaxed atmosphere.
The activity days cost $32 for one day or $58 for both.
