Council has had some serious issues to contend with over the last year, but we were still able to come up trumps at the end of the year.

We have had a very harmonious council this year albeit for a number of vexatious complaints that have hamstrung the council to a minor degree, but which have cost ratepayers many thousands of dollars which could have been used better for community groups in need.

The new oval and netball courts being laid at Clarke oval are going to be great as will the new pavilion at board man oval.

The low point was the passing of a couple of our stalwarts in Alan Walters and Tony McMahon
