Macedon Ranges council is inviting you to have your say on its draft Public Toilet and Barbecue Strategy, until October 31.

The plan will guide future planning and management of public toilets and barbecues across the municipality.

Right now, council manages 52 public toilets and 45 public barbecues in various locations, including open spaces, parks, and sports ovals.

Council said the strategy would help it make sure residents and visitors are provided with “accessible, safe and well-maintained public toilet and barbecue facilities” by identifying and guiding:

• the ongoing management of facilities

• planning for upgrades of existing facilities

• where new facilities are most needed to meet community needs in the future

The strategy is open for public comment until October 31, 2022.

You can have your say online at mrsc.vic.gov.au/yoursay, by calling (03) 5422 0333, emailing mrsc@mrsc.vic.gov.au, or in person during business hours at any of council’s customer service centres.

You can also write a submission and send it to PO Box 151, Kyneton, Victoria, 3444.
