As Sunbury residents eagerly await the revamp of John McMahon Reserve, Hume council is calling for design input on some of the park’s new features.
The community is being asked to provide ideas for a playspace, exercise area and circuit path.
Hume council said the feedback would be considered when designs for each of the spaces were drawn up, which will be shown to the community later in the year.
The masterplan was drawn up and adopted by the council last year and the council said a tender process was underway to build the reserve’s new oval, pavilion and extension to the social room.
Feedback can be provided at hume.vic.gov.au or by contacting parkplanning@hume.vic.gov.au or 9205 2200 before Tuesday, June 19.
