Macedon Ranges council is inviting residents to have their say on the Dalton Street Reserve Environmental Management Plan before submissions close tomorrow at 5pm on June 6.
The important public open space at Dalton Reserve Network is a mix of bushland and grassy, open areas. It also includes a section of Marrum Bulok Creek.
With remnant Grassy Forest, wildflowers and gorgeous bird life, the site has significant flora and fauna values.
Council said they had been working with residents and ecologists to develop a plan for the Dalton Street network of reserves and invites feedback on the plan, available on the council website.
“The Plan will help improve the biodiversity values of the area by guiding revegetation projects and bushland enhancement works over the next ten years or more,” council said.
To have your say, you can either email environment@mrsc.vic.gov.au, post to PO Box 151, Kyneton, Vic, 3444 or call 03 5422 0333
