Macdeon MP Mary-Anne Thomas has launched grants worth up to $180,000 to build accessible amenities.
Changing Places facilities include an adjustable, adult sized changing bench, a tracking hoist system and enough space for two people.
Ms Thomas said these facilities will support local jobs and the community.
“Establishing a local Changing Places facility in Macedon will support local jobs and communities by making it easier for people who rely on these facilities to visit,“ she said.
The state government has encouraged councils, tourism attractions and destinations, and not for profit organisations to apply for the grant, which closes on April 14.
The state government has also announced the website has been redeveloped to make information more accessible, which includes details on where the nearest facilities are.
The state government allocated $5.4 million in the 2022-23 budget to build 30 Changing Places facilities.
