Goonawarra pupils bin working hard

Goonawarra Primary School pupils have put their creativity to work in a campaign to encourage better care of the school environment. Each class at the primary school, from grade three up, decorated a rubbish bin for the schoolground. “The idea behind the bins was to beautify the yard to encourage students to use them rather than litter,” teacher Rhiannon Lo Bosco said. Each class collectively came up with artwork for the individual bins, the pupils using their spare time to progressively work on their masterpieces.
