Get ready to experience all the spectacle, excitement and fun of the Lancefield Agriculture Show.

The annual country fair returns later this month.

Excited youngsters such as nine-year-old James (pictured) are looking forward to spending time with furry and feathered animals and the petting zoo.

There will be something for everyone during the show, including the traditional favourites of art and craft competitions, dog high jump, tractor pull, motorcycle riding competitions, stalls, wood chop, cattle competitions and the much-loved show bags.

Thrill seekers can hop aboard the kite flyer and the chair-o-plane, or take a bounce on the animal safari jumping castle.

The Lancefield Agriculture Show is on Sunday, October 20 at Lancefield Park, Chauncey Street. Unlimited ride wristbands can be purchased for $35 on the day or $30 online.

Cost $10 for adults, $5 for children and $5 for concession card holders.
