Free pads and tampons have arrived at Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
Hume Leisure has partnered with the state government to bring the initiative to the centre, with vending machines installed in the women’s change rooms and toilets on 29 January.
The program is currently being rolled out across the state, with many places across Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges now offering the service.
In Sunbury, vending machines are located at the Sunbury Railway Station, Sunbury Library and the Sunbury Day Hospital.
Across the Macedon Ranges, machines are installed at the Gisborne, Romsey and Woodend libraries, Kyneton Town Hall and Central Highlands Rural Health in Kyneton.
