Salesian College will host its annual Rupertswood Harvest Festival this weekend, showcasing the work of agricultural students.

Principal Mark Brockhus said he was looking forward to celebrating the festival with the Sunbury community.

“Our college is extremely proud to organise a community event such as the Rupertswood Harvest,” he said.

“It builds on the imagination of our students, shares a piece of our curriculum with others as well as help make our community more connected.”

Mr Brockhus said there would be plenty of sights and attractions for festival-goers.

“There will be lots of activities including free face-painting and games, free animal petting farm, free photographs, live entertainment, community market and student stalls, food trucks and more,” he said.

“This year will once again showcase our sheep and cattle, one of the favourite elements of the harvest.

“People travel far and wide to speak with our students and view some of the animals that have made such an impression at various shows, including the Royal Melbourne Show.”

The Rupertswood Harvest Festival is at Salesian College Sunbury, 1 Macedon Street on Friday, October 25 between 4-8pm.

Free entry. Free parking is available on site.

Sunbury Coaches will provide free bus transport between Sunbury station and the school.
