A person has died after a tree fell onto their car in Woodend.
The vehicle was travelling along South Rock Road about 2.30pm on Thursday, November 17, police said.
Emergency services attended the scene of the single vehicle incident, police said.
A female passenger died at the scene, while a male driver was taken to hospital for assessment with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police said they were continuing to establish the exact circumstances around the crash and investigations were ongoing.
