Police are investigating a fatal crash in Monegeetta on Wednesday night.
It is understood a car crashed into a tree on Kilmore Road, near Melbourne Lancefield Road, about 9.55pm.
Emergency services worked on the female driver, who is yet to be formally identified, but she died at the scene.
