Police are investigating a fatal collision in Gisborne on Tuesday morning
Emergency services were called to Bacchus Marsh Road where a car and motorbike collided at about 6.20am.
A male rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male driver of the car stopped at the scene.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the collision.
