The second racing event of the year at Hanging Rock is coming up on January 26.
The annual Australia Day race attracts between 3000 – 4000 people every year for a day of fun.
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the race day with various packages available.
For the kids there will be free showbags from Kelly Sports and for the adults mini marquees can still be purchased.
A shuttle bus service for $5 a ticket is available from Woodend Station between 10.45am to 1.15pm and return service departs the racecourse from 4pm.
Punters are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the shaded trees and lawns.
