The Kyneton Handweavers and Spinners Group is gearing up for its third Annual Fingers and Toes Competition and Festival.
While the festival won’t be held until September, now is the perfect time to get to work on your entries for the competition.
There’s 31 classes to enter your knitted or crocheted projects in, covering things such as socks, gloves, wrist warmers, slippers, bed socks as well as fun classes like finger puppets and Christmas stockings. You can either use hand spun or commercial yarn on your entries.
If you’d like to enter, entry forms can be received by emailing fingerandtoesfestival@gmail.com or can be found at the group’s Facebook page.
Entries for the competitions close on August 4, with all items to be received by September 4.
The festival will be held from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 6, at the Red Brick Hall, Yaldwyn Street West, Kyneton, with a gold coin entrance fee. Children can attend for free, with raffle prizes to be won.
