It’s time to hop into the Easter spirit, as the calendar is chock-a-block with a range of egg-xciting events for the whole family.
Hume council will be running activities all week to help keep the kids entertained in the lead up to, and over the long weekend.
Get down to Sunbury Library on Thursday, April 1 at 11am for Easter story time, or check out the story and rhyme session at Tullamarine Library on March 31 at 10am and 11am, where everyone takes home an Easter basket template.
But it’s not all just for kids, Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre will be running a Les Mills Combo and Reformer workout class on Sunday, April,4 at 9.15am.
The council has also launched its first ever Hume Virtual Easter Experience as part of a competition where one lucky winner will go home with an iPad.
Locals can access the council’s virtual Easter template at their website. Simply follow the link, upload a photograph with the virtual template, and go into the running to take home the prize. A winner will be drawn at random on April 6.
