Divine Divas concert idea

Female choir group the Divine Divas of Sunbury is joining forces with male pop choir Low Rez for a concert in Woodend.

Divine Divas director Adam Przewlocki said the upcoming event is a great occasion for residents in the area.

“It’s a first-time, unique event in Macedon,” Przewlocki said.

“It’s great to come together in concert and song … it’s a heartwarming experience.”

The two groups unite men and women of all cultures who rehearse with their separate choirs once a week. They will join together for reherseals prior to the concert.

Przewlocki said that there will be music to suit all ages.

“We have music ranging from Madonna to P!NK … you can’t get much entertainment for $35 these days,” he said.

Joining the two choir groups will be Sunbury Kidz Pop Choir, founded and conducted by Przewlocki himself.

The concert takes place at 2pm on Sunday, November 18 at St Ambrose Church, 47 Urquart Street, Woodend.

Tickets cost $15 and $10 and a family ticket – two adults, two children is $35.
Tickets are available at:  www.trybooking.com/YQBG
