A long-serving Kyneton Toyota Sports and Aquatic Centre employee with a passion for people has been recognised at the annual Aquatics and Recreation Industry Awards.
Anita Wilson, who has worked at KTSAC since 2002, received Aquatics and Recreation Victoria’s Excellence in Customer Service Award.
The award recognises Ms Wilson’s outstanding achievement and dedication to the aquatics industry.
Macedon Ranges council community wellbeing director Karen Stevens said Ms Wilson always displayed outstanding customer service.
“Anita strives to create a culture of outstanding customer service at KTSAC and she leads by example,” she said.
“Listening to staff and clients, empathising with their concerns, and having the skills to solve problems are a few of the ways Anita works with the staff team, and also with the community.
“Winning this prestigious award highlights the professionalism and quality of service that council staff offer, and it’s great to have that acknowledged.”
This is the fifth time a KTSAC staff member has been recognised at the Aquatics and Recreation Industry Awards.
