Police arrested a man after he allegedly drove his vehicle into the front of the Sunbury Police Station on Sunday night.
Three employees were inside the station at the time of the incident, just after 10pm, but police said no one was injured.
Police believe witnesses observed the vehicle being driven erratically in the area prior to the incident.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage but there is no ongoing threat to the community,” police said.
