Macedon Ranges council will host a forum on two important community issues.

Councillors will be discussing the new Emergency Services Volunteer Fund Levy (ESVF) and the ongoing drought conditions in the region with residents.

All councillors will be in attendance alongside council staff and partner agencies to hear resident’s concerns, and to find how council can better advocate locally for better outcomes for affected residents.

All community members, local farmers, volunteers and service providers are invited.

The information session will be held on Sunday, June 15, from 11.30am, with council first discussing the EVSF Levy, before breaking for a free community lunch before coming together to tackle drought concerns.

The session will be held at the Newham CFA, 1293 Rochford Road, Newham, with parking available nearby at the Newham Mechanics Institute and Newham Primary School.
