It’s the first Saturday of the month coming up again, which means you can enjoy a delightful day at the Woodend Community Farmers’ Market. Plant, produce and recipe Swap
Calling Sunbury’s green thumbs! Bring your plants, your cuttings and seedlings, your herbs, veggies and fruit from your garden, even a recipe to swap with other locals. Head along on Saturday, May 14, 10am-noon at Sunbury Library, 44 Macedon Street. The event is free.
Re-engage, Re-activate, Resilience!
Hume council invites the community to take part in this interactive workshop to support organisations to build resilience and re-activate programs. On Thursday, May 5, 10am-noon at the Goonawarra Community Centre, 20 Dornoch Drive, Sunbury, the workshop will provide insights to take with you to your group, with opportunities to learn what support is available.
Lions Skate Park Info Day
Head along to the Lions Skate Park in Romsey for an information day about whether to upgrade or rebuild the facility. Bring a gold coin on Sunday, May 15, 10am-2pm, for a sausage sizzle and the opportunity to have your licence place secured with soft screws. Williamstown Craft Market
Commonwealth Reserve comes alive on the third Sunday of the month for the Williamstown Craft Market. The market boasts more than 50 stalls showcasing everything from handmade craft, homegrown produce and food vendors. There will also be live music. From 10am-4pm.
