Sunbury carols
Carols in Sunbury will be held on the grounds of Rupertswood on Saturday, December 10th. There will be food and drink trucks, and childrens’ activities on site from 5pm, with carols starting at 7pm.
Sunbury Police Community Register
Volunteer for the Sunbury Police Community Register. Formed in 2010 as a result of the 2009 Black Friday bushfires in Victoria, the group’s mission is to make regular contact, provide reassurance and wellbeing checks to elderly or vulnerable residents living in the Sunbury area, including those without friends or relatives. Volunteers head to the Sunbury Police Station to chat with clients.

Coffee making
Presented by the Jesuit Social Services, in partnership with Hume Youth Services, residents are invited to learn how to make coffee in a special, free barista course on Saturday, November 26, form 9am to 4pm at Sunbury Youth Centre. Participants must be aged between 16 to 24 and be connected to the Hume area. Register below:

Head along to PS My Family Matters’ eating disorder information evening on Friday, November 25, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Carlsruhe Country Fair
For a day of family fun head along to Woodend Primary School’s Carlsruhe Country Fair on November 26. A giant 30m slide, bungee trampolines, an inflatable obstacle tunnel, a trackless train, arts and crafts, a sideshow alley and an action-packed entertainment stage will be just some of the fun to be had. 10am to 4pm, Nicholson St, Carlsruhe.
Hume Seed Library talks
Hume Seed Library is partnering with Hume libraries and inviting you to learn all about why seed sovereignty matters, and learn some simple methods to save your seeds for future seasons. A talk will take place at Sunbury Library on November 26, 1.30-2.30pm.
Breast cancer support group
On the first and third Tuesday of the month breast cancer survivors are invited to head along to the Gisborne Golf Club at 10.30am to take part in a breast cancer support group. There they discuss experiences, find connections and improve mental health.

Arts and games night
Get creative at the Sunbury Youth Centre as part of an art and games night each Wednesday at the Sunbury Youth Centre, 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
