Sunbury Rotarians such as David Allan and Bruce Wallace (pictured) are ready to hit the road for the club’s Ride for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) this Sunday.
Participants can choose from three rides as part of this year’s charity event.
There’s a 16-kilometre short ride on Mitchells Lane, Moore Road and Vineyard Road ($15 per person); a 37-kilometre intermediate ride from Sunbury to South Gisborne, Gisborne and return ($30 per person); and a 65-kilometre long ride from Sunbury to South Gisborne, Barringo, Macedon, Gisborne and return ($55 per person).
Marshals will be stationed along the routes.
A water stop, a barbecue, fruit and drinks is included in the entry fees.
Money raised will help MND Victoria’s efforts to provide support and lead research into the terminal neurological disease.
