The Macedon Ranges Accommodation Association (MRAA) is turning 20 years old in November.
Bringing together members to build better relationships, support operators and to enhance business development, the MRAA has been a vitally important resource for accommodation in the tourism region.
MRAA president Mariel Sloane invited all local businesses to partake in birthday celebrations on November 30.
“The accommodation sector is an integral part of the wider visitor economy. As such, we are holding a celebration and invite other businesses to share in marking this milestone,” she said.
“As part of our commitment to supporting businesses in the visitor economy, we are proud to be one of the first events held in the newly launched Lost Watering Hole at Lancefield.”
The list of achievements by the MRAA over the past two decades is extensive, particularly in the last 12 months, including a collaboration with Macedon Ranges council to continue an expanded Visitor Economy Industry Support Program, coordinated with former MRAA president Andrew Towner.
To celebrate all that’s happened and all that will come in the future, members and other businesses from the wider visitor economy community have been welcomed by the association to take part.
