The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued another warning for damaging winds expected to hit Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges tomorrow morning.
Earlier today the BOM sent out an alert for strong northerly winds which are expected to strengthen over the south west and central parts of Victoria very early tomorrow.
It makes tomorrow the second severe wind event in the area in the past week, after gusts of more than 140 kilometres per hour hit Victoria on Friday.
Speaking with SES Sunbury unit spokesperson Jarrod Bell last week, he implored people to secure loose items on their property in preparation for severe weather events that can get caught in high winds and cause injury or property damage.
“The most concerning focus for us is loose objects that can become missiles,” Mr Bell said.
SES Victoria recommends that individuals avoid driving or travel where possible.
Another update from the BOM is expected later today.
