Families can escape the heat by heading to Sunbury library this summer.
Free school-holiday storytime sessions for all ages are being held on Thursday afternoons from 2-3.30pm.
On Mondays, preschool storytime sessions from 10.30-11.15am are for children aged 3-5 years old. These sessions will continue when school resumes.
The library is also hosting a free playgroup session for children under 5 on Friday, January 19. Songs and rhyme time for children aged 0-3 will take place from 10am, followed by a pop-up playgroup featuring sand and block activities for 0-3 year-olds from 10.30am.
A lesson on how to grow vegies for 3-5 year olds and their parents will run from 11.30am.
Sunbury library is in its new temporary home at 51-53 Evans Street.
