Kyneton is ringing in spring with a bunch of festive activities.
The town’s annual Daffodil and Arts Festival runs from August 30 until September 9.
The festival will feature one-act plays, the vintage and antique fair, ferret racing, buskers, food and wine, live performances, literary events and the Kyneton dog dash.
The 124-year-old Kyneton Horticultural Society will host its annual spring flower show.
For art-lovers, the daffodil art and photography prize works will be on display, along with art works by local artists, at various galleries.
Music and a light supper at the daffodil gala dance will also be among the highlights.
The festival comes to a conclusion with a riot of colour and sound in the grand street parade and fair featuring bands, dancers, performers, floats, vintage vehicles.
