Babies in Sunbury

Parents and babies In Hume gathered at the Maternal and Child Health Centre in Sunbury last Tuesday for an informative session learning about their families newest editions.

The two hour free event was run by Hume council as an opportunity for parents to gain some information relevant to their baby’s developing needs, ask questions, and meet other parents.

The topics covered include sleep and settling, communication, introducing solids and educational age appropriate diet, safety in and around the home, and play, learning and development.

The session was for babies aged five to eight months, but sessions for other age groups are also held throughout the municipality. The event is also held in Kalkallo, Greenvale West, Craigieburn and Mickleham.
