Aggravated burglary in Sunbury last month

Police are searching for information about an aggravated burglary in Sunbury last month.

Three men broke into a home on O’Shanassy Street about 4am on March 28.

Two male occupants tried to stop the intruders entering the house, but the three men got in shortly before police turned up.

Police pursued the offenders on foot onto Evans Street, but all three fled in a silver Mazda 2 hatch.

No one was physically injured in the incident.

The three offenders were unknown to the occupants.

One has been described as in his 30s, of a solid build, perceived to be of a Southern European or Middle Eastern appearance, with black hair tied in a ponytail, and was wearing a black jacket and pants.

The second has been described as in his late 20s or early 30s, perceived to be of Southern European or Middle Eastern appearance and was wearing a black cap, black jacket and green pants.

The third has been described as in his 20s or 30s, of slim build, perceived to be of Asian appearance, with black hair and was wearing a green jacket and blue pants.
