A city adventure for first Birds of a Feather

To kick off 2023, the first Birds of a Feather gathering will take attendees into the city to the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda.

Organised by Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health’s (SCCH) Country LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Program, or CLIP, the quarterly lunches are usually held in venues across the Macedon Ranges.

A fundraising sausage sizzle on the rooftop with vegetarian and vegan options will be available for lunch, followed by a complementary gelato, supported by Val’s LGBTI Ageing & Aged Care.

Attendees can enjoy guided tours through the centre, to give the full experience of its architecture and incredible views, and guests will also have a chance to browse information stalls from LGBTIQA+ organisations to learn more about the services on offer.

“Please join us as we bring regional pride to the city,” SCCH said. “RSVP are essential and numbers are capped, so get in quick.”

SCCH will have a small bus travelling from Kyneton if attendees need transport, get in touch with the service for further details and other queries.
