Police investigate fatal crash at Lancefield

A second person has died following a single vehicle crash in Lancefield on Wednesday.

The 88-year-old from Sunbury was driving his silver Hyundai east on Three Chain Road when it’s believed the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree about 2pm.

The man was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries but died on Friday.

The 87-year-old female passenger died at the scene.

The exact cause of the crash is being investigated and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at crimestoppersvic.com.au
