Hanging Rock craft market is back for another year on Saturday, March 18, with almost 100 stalls set to appear.
The market will run from 9am to 2pm with local and regional stalls selling take away food, home grown produce and handmade products including; artwork, clothing, metalwork sculptures and more.
Hanging Rock craft market media co-ordinator Sarah Gamon said they preference local stall holders and products.
“We try and keep it as local as we can.”
Ms Gamon said they are expecting about one to two thousand people to attend the bi-annual event, depending on the weather.
The local fire brigade will be at the market collecting donations, and they are also on the lookout for local musicians to perform, Ms Gamon said. Anyone who is interested in performing is encouraged to email Hanging Rock market.
There is a $10 entry fee required to access the market as it is located within the nature preserve, however once you enter you are free to explore the park.
“You can go walk up the rock, enjoy the info centre with the history [and have] full access to the market,” Ms Gamon said.
