Paintings, pottery and jewellery will go on show as part of the Phoenix Macedon Ranges Art and Craft Group’s annual Christmas exhibition.
Textiles and woodwork created by group members will also be displayed at the old Gisborne courthouse from Friday evening until Sunday.
Sunbury artist and potter Michelle Beveridge has spent the past eight years honing her skills with the group, which was formed in the wake of the Ash Wednesday fires.
‘‘I started off doing ceramics, but wanted to have more creative control,’’ she says.
Beveridge, one of seven Sunbury artists involved this year, has also become an accomplished painter after delving into her creative side later in life.
‘‘I just love it … it’s my favourite thing to do.’’
All work exhibited at the show is for sale. Free entry. Details: 5428 2835 or phoenixarts.weebly.com
