Salesian College steps out in technicolor

Bright costumes, exciting dance routines and lively songs will be woven together by Salesian College students as part of the Rupertswood school’s annual production.

Performing arts co-ordinator Tanika Richards says a cast of close to 70 students will appear on stage at the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Another 15 or so are involved behind the scenes. Ms Richards says a lot of work has been put in since the production was chosen at the end of last year.

‘‘It’s certainly been a long process. It all started with auditions in February, and then the cast has been involved in rehearsals since March.”

Shows will be staged at 1pm and 7pm this Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
