Mount Macedon snow fun while it lasted

It was only a light dusting, but snow that fell on Mount Macedon during last week’s cold snap provided plenty of fun for hundreds of people who flocked to viewing areas including the mount’s memorial cross.

Lancefield’s Jos, 8 (pictured), was among those who relished the chance to get their mittens on some of the snow that fell from mid Friday and into Saturday morning.

Flurries were also reported in lower lying areas including Kyneton and Malmsbury as temperatures plummeted.
