Young book lovers can get the inside story from some of their favourite writers at the Dromkeen Literary Festival this Saturday.
More than 14 authors, illustrators and cartoonists will be part of the annual festival, which celebrates children’s literature and storytelling.
Dromkeen education officer and gallery director Bernadette Joiner says kids, families and librarians are welcome at the festival, with events including talks by writers and illustrators, readings, hands-on creative workshops, panel discussions, picnics and play activities in the grounds of the historic property, from 10am until 4pm.
