Fusion in the chapel

Listen to the folk fusion sounds of Melbourne artist Pamela Joy at the next Live@theChapel event in Sunbury. The free event will be at Bethany Lutheran Church, corner Brook and Jackson streets, from 6.30pm this Sunday.

Eloquent endeavour

Need a confidence boost? Improve your public speaking and leadership skills with the Sunbury and Macedon Ranges Toastmasters. The club’s next meeting will be at the Sunbury Senior Citizens Centre tonight (July 21) from 7.30. Guests welcome.

Diabetes info

Learn more about diabetes as part of a four-week course offered at Sunbury Community Health. Sessions will be from 10am-noon every Thursday from this Thursday. Bookings essential. Cost: $10 a session or $35 for all four.

Sunbury U3A’s term three program is under way. Join in the fun of ballroom dancing and carpet bowls or learn some German or French. There’s also a walking group and regular guest speakers.

Entries for the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival photography ($250) and art ($500) prizes close on August 14. This year’s festival is from September 3-13.
