Men who haven’t exercised in a while are being encouraged to join a new group. Sunbury Community Health’s men’s exercise group allows men to work out in a safe, social and non-competitive environment under supervision of expert staff. The group exercises from 9.30-10.30am on Thursdays. Cost: $5

Show up and shine

A car and motorcycle show and shine will be part of this year’s Lancefield Swap Meet. Automotive/motorcycle parts, collectables, tools and memorabilia will be available across hundreds of outdoor sites at Lancefield Park. Gates open 7.30am Sunday. Entry: $6, children under 16 free.

What makes this frog growl?

Find out why frogs matter during a free talk by ecologist Andrew Hamer at Macedon Ranges council’s Gisborne office from 2pm this Saturday. Hamer will discuss the endangered growling grass frog and outline how the loss of a single species of frog can affect entire networks within nature. Bookings essential.
